"E Ma Hide" (VIDEO) - Drama has Lawyers Prevent Journalists From Capturing Emefiele's Apperance In Court
There was mild drama at the Federal High Court in Lagos as Lawyers of embattled former CBN governor Godwin Emefiele tried to prevent journalists from capturing what they described as private moments of the erstwhile CBN in court. Journalists who were in court for the days proceedings tried to take shots of the former apex bank chief but was being shielded away from the press by his lawyers when he arrived at the court premises.
Emefiele has been in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS) since his arrest after his removal from office by President Bola Tinubu on June 9. the Federal Government withdrew the illegal possession of firearms charge it filed against suspended CBN governor and filed fresh 20 count charges against him. Journalists were however not allowed to freely take pictures and capture him on camer when operates of the Security Services took him to court.
While trying to dodge the press, Lawyers of Emefiele speaking in yoruba told him not to hide (E ma hide) but walk while leaving the court.
